What is Corneal Topography?
Corneal topography, also known as photo-keratoscopy or video-keratography, is a non-invasive medical imaging technique for mapping the surface curvature of the cornea, the outer structure of the eye.
This type of medical imaging is crucial in the early detection of eye diseases such as keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies. It is also essentially in fitting specialty contact lenses and orthokeratology.
This specialised imaging maintains Hansen Optometrists mission of providing the best optometric care using the latest technology for both the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease.
